Nanjing Youth Olympic Games is another significant Olympic events following the Beijing Olympic Games in China. It is the first Youth Olympic Games that will be held in China and also the second Olympic events in China. A total of 28 major sports and 222 small sports, there will be 3,787 athletes from 204 countries participate in the competition, is one of the largest sports competition which own most participating countries and regions.

Youth Olympic Games is an international event organized for talented young athletes aged from 15 to 18 from around the world. Just like the Olympic Games, the Youth Olympic Games are held every four years. The 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games will be held in Nanjing, China, from August 16 to 28 in 2014
